WEEK 2:  Refresher Childbirth Education Course. This course is 3 weeks long and is designed for parents who have already had a hospital birth or births who are choosing to birth at home for the first time. Classes will be held on Mondays, November 13th, 20th, & 27th.

We will watch videos of births in varying positions, as well as practicing ‘catching’ the baby. We’ll discuss what birth is like for babies, and go over emergency birth procedures as well as demonstrating initial steps of neonatal resuscitation. We will also show items our midwives will bring to your home birth. There will be a question and answer session.
